Linkitimme aiheen pääsiäiseen ja kierrättämiseen. Pääsiäisenä Suomessa koristellaan virpomavitsoja. Nyt teimme hieman isomman vitsan luokan kattoon. Ensin ripustimme omenapuunoksan luokan kattoon. Keräsimme muutamia viikkoja vessapaperirullia. Jokainen oppilas sai yhden vessapaperirullan. Rulla päällystettiin kierrätyskankailla, jotka liimattiin rullaan. Lisäksi rullaan liimattiin höyheniä. Nämä rullat ripustettiin katossa olevaan oksaan. Tähän oksaan voidaan jatkossa tehdä muitakin mobileita.

We linked this project with Easter and recycling. The tradition is to decorate twigs with feathers and silk paper roses at Easter time in Finland. This time we made a bigger “twig” and hung it up on the ceiling in the classroom. We collected empty toilet paper rolls for a few weeks. Each pupil got one roll, which they covered with glue and a recycled piece of cloth. Some feathers were fixed on the roll, too. The decorated rolls were hung on the branch hanging from the ceiling. We can use this branch later to make more mobiles.
