Between the two fires

Pupils are divided into two groups of equal size.

One pupil is chosen to be the Captain in both groups.

A rectangular area is split into two parts.

Both teams go to stand on their respective areas.

The Captains go behind their opponents’ team.  They also hit out the opponents.

The game starts when the players toss a soft ball  (like in basketball).

The opponents try to hit out each other on the body by throwing the ball.

The players, who get hit, go to stand next to their Captain behind the opponents and they, too, can try to hit the opponents, if they catch the ball.

The players are allowed to catch the ball.

The winner is the team that has the last player on the playground.
